Smarthome and Theater Systems and Garrett Wilson Builders have collaborated with each other since 2019. Thanks to HBRA’s networking events, Jared O’Mara, principal owner of Smarthome and Theater Systems, and Garrett Wilson, owner of Garrett Wilson Builders, met at a networking event in Norwalk. They got to know each other and learned about each other's services and approach to doing business. It was evident they would benefit from collaborating on projects to bring about positive results.

Jared and Garrett have collaborated on several projects. One notable project was a spacious 10,000+ square-foot home in Riverside Connecticut that included multiple living and entertaining areas. STS and GWB spent countless hours collaborating to bring their client’s vision to life. By working with precision, they ensured proper placement, installation, fit and function of all products and technology. The luxury home now boasts a professional golf and gaming simulator, a media room featuring a video wall with five TVs, a state-of-the-art outdoor sound system, hidden indoor speakers, and a built-in TV above the fireplace.
The project also included seamless integration and smart home control of many aspects of the home, giving the client the ability to control their lighting, music, video systems, and shades all at the touch of a button. The efforts of STS and GWB resulted in a successful collaboration and a client who was thrilled with the outcome.
