When this client first called Smarthome, he didn’t know if he was our “Ideal client”.  He thought some of our capabilities were beyond what he needed.  A retired couple from Fairfield county, hired Smarthome to fit their beach home with a simple system.  Their house is more about beach living than technology.  We went with a modest sized TV, with a simple installation and 1 remote to consolidate all the “remote clutter”.

Smarthome received a call from a client who had a very unique, antique home, a remodeled barn.  In a very rustic large room with a grand fireplace (about 6 feet wide), the owner waned to hang a TV above the fireplace with small barn doors to hide the TV and also wanted to hide the all the components out of sight in the garage.  This was a tricky job as we had to run the wires through the wood storage area in the fireplace and behind the fireplace.
We also installed an intelligent power strip ~ it tells us the electronic health of the home.  We are able to re-boot your system remotely from an app on our phone system.  This helps us provide you with the quickest customer service no matter where we are when you call.

Commercial Job:  Boardroom Take Over.  This job was very simple and very affordable.  We were in and out in one day not to disturb business. Smarthome installed two screens side by side in the boardroom which were mounted on the wall.  One is used for video conferencing and the other is for presentations.  The whole system is controlled by an i-pad on a desk.

This is a rental property home.  The current owner was re-located and using the home for rental income.  The home came with a small home theater ~ Smart Home was hired to be the technology specialist.  We couldn’t run wires and knock down walls, so we used the portable SONOS speakers to upgrade their system.  We serviced the theater, replacing the bulb in the projector and reprogrammed the remote because some devices had changed.  

A client of ours purchased a home with an existing music system and wanted to upgrade it.  Smarthome was able to evaluate the current music system, update it with today’s technology including an i-Pad control and streaming music and then, added a large screen TV, surround sound, and easy controls to have one remote control to control everything in his living room.

A client of ours just bought a house and called to have two TV’s hung right away. Once the owner was settled, Smarthome added additional televisions in the family room, gym, master bedroom and the living room.  We had all the equipment placed in a hidden rack in the garage, installed Apple TV for streaming Netflix, Hulu and XBox for the kids. 

BAR METHOD Exercise Studio Franchise location in Darien, CT ~ franchisees are given a corporate guideline as to what sound system should install, but they  are able to hire their own company and equipment.  Knowing nothing about A/V and Technology, the owners contacted a couple of integrators and Smarthome won the job.  We have experience in Pro Audio systems, mixing wireless mics with the soundtrack and balancing the sound.  Multiple speakers were installed throughout the space that gave a consistent sound in the studio.

There are multiple instructors who use the system.  So we installed and mounted an I-Pad that controls the system on the wall, so that each instructor can use their own play list.

This corporate client located in Danbury, CT needed to upgrade their conference facility’s a/v system. The screen was upgraded from 100” to 120”, and now motorized and recessed into the ceiling.  Smarthome’s designers also created an easier way to connect the projector to visitors' laptops.  Typically, when visitors bring their own laptops, there’s no guarantee they will work at the time of the presentation. An HDMI scaler negotiates a variety of different video signals so that an optimal image is displayed and time is not wasted troubleshooting technology.  This technology made it easier for both the hotel staff and their clients to use the conference room. 

This national chain contacted Smarthome to add several video displays and a projector into their store along with a control system.  As part of the conditions of the installation, we also provide a service contract for timely maintenance of the system. 

Rockin’ Jump is the first trampoline park in Connecticut.  This facility started as an empty warehouse and was transformed in just a few months. 

Smarthome installed an audio system with more than 20 speakers and subwoofers hanging from the 20+ foot high ceiling that entertains the kids with music and also serves as the public address system. For video Smarthome installed 4 flatscreen TVs in the common area for sitting and eating where patrons can watch sporting events and other programs while taking a break from the action or getting a bite to eat. Also installed are several flat screens as digital signage screens which serve menu info and pricing and upcoming events at the facility. Lastly a comprehensive security camera system is installed to cover every square foot of juming space inside the trampoline park. Due to the nature of their business, and for liability purposes, Rockin’ Jump needs to record and archive video footage of each trampoline for their insurance company.  Smarthome provides on-going service to back up video from more than 24 cameras on a quarterly basis.

The client has a beautiful home with an open floor plan in the family room and kitchen.  They wanted to be able to have a large screen TV to be viewed from the entire area and have the components hidden. The screen is easily viewable from the seating area and the kitchen to provide entertainment while hosting guests or just relaxing. All of the components needed to power and control the system except for the flatscreen are consealed in a closet not far from the TV. This presents as a very minimal install without sacrificing performance.  In addition Smarthome installed a flatscreen over the fireplace in the master bedroom. With no room below the screen for the components we utilized the attic above this room to run concealed wires and locate the equipment in a location acceptable to the client
